Volunteers Needed

Father Leonard Van Tighem School could use some volunteers for some events at school this week.

Firstly, it would be appreciated if any Jr. High Parents could volunteer for the Jr. High Dance this week. Here is some information:

Secondly, our School Council is sponsoring a couple of events this week. Here is some information, including a Google Doc sign-up sheet:

School Council is looking for volunteers for the following events. Thanks in advance for your support!

Valentine’s Day

We will be handing out cookies to the students at our school on February 14th. 

Please meet in the gathering space by 9:15. Maximum time commitment is about 2 hours, depending on the number of volunteers.  

Shrove Tuesday
We are looking for volunteers for our Shrove Tuesday celebration. Because Shrove Tuesday is while kids are out of school for Reading Week this year, we will celebrate Thursday, February 16. Please sign up below if you can help distribute pancakes to our school community that day. Volunteers are asked to meet at the canteen; there will be one shift, 8:50-11:00. Please indicate which shift you would like or if you can stay the entire time.

Asking Our Parent: January 2023

Thank you to everyone that completed the January 2023 Asking Our Parents survey. We had 138 surveys submitted. While that does not seem huge, it is 4 to 5 times higher than the Alberta Education parent survey. The survey results will help guide us as we make some future plans. Here are the results:
