Upcoming Parent Information

Summer Registration 2017:

• Opens ON-LINE April 24^th at 7:00 am
• Spots are filled on a first come first served basis
• There is a limited number of part time spots available
• Program Dates: July 4-31

August 1-30 closed August 7^th – Civic Holiday

• Locations:
  • Nicholas Sheran (380 Laval Blvd. West)
  • Park Meadows (50 Meadowlark Blvd North)
• Fees: Full-Time $610 per child per month

Part-Time $470 per month minimum charge per child for up to TEN (10) days in a month. An additional charge of $55 per child will be charged for each day over the 10 days.

• Only KinderKare students that have just completed the BLAST KINDERKARE program in June will be accepted for summer registration.
• Cancellation: a $200 cancellation deposit per child is required to be paid upon registration…. this deposit will be applied against August’s fee or refunded to those who only registered in the July program.

Fall Registration 2017-2018

• Early registrations opens ON-LINE May 31^st at 7:00 am to June 2 for those children already registered in BLAST as of June, 2017. (If you do not register during this time, you will be registering Jun 7^th or later on-line when it is open to all public).
• June 7^th at 7:00 am registration will be open to everyone for all remaining spots.
• Fees:

Before School Full-Time $155.00 per child/month (care is provided Mon.- Fri. before school)

After School Full-Time $340.00 per child/month (care is provided Mon.-Fri. while school is in Session, Parent/Teacher Interviews, Professional Development Days (PD Days), Teacher’s Convention, Christmas and Easter Breaks

Before School Part-Time $105.00 per child /month (minimum charge up to ten days)
Each additional day over the 10 days will be billed at $13.00/day. Payment for additional days, not paid for at the beginning of the month is due by the first day of the following month.

After School Part-Time $205.00 per child/month (minimum charge up to any combination of Days equal to charges of $205.00 based on the following rates:

-$27.00 regular day (approximately 3:30 p.m. dismissal)

-$37.00 half day (approximately 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. dismissal)

-$55.00 full day  (Full days, Professional Days (PD), Christmas and Easter Breaks)

Any additional days used over the $205.00 minimum charge will be billed out based on the above rates.

KinderKare Registration 2017-2018:

• Opens ON-LINE May 31^st at 7:00 am
• Location: OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION SCHOOL
• $575 per child per month (full time only)
• Monday-Friday (7:00 am – 6:00 pm) excluding holidays
• Child MUST be registered in the afternoon kindergarten class.

In order for Registration to be considered complete it must have the following:

• Deposit Paid if on subsidy
• Cancellation deposit is paid for summer program
• All applicable medical forms are completed and returned to the BLAST office
• Void cheque or electronic banking information with signature of the registering parent

Cancellation:

If your child or children are registered in one of the BLAST FALL or KINDERKARE programs for 2017-2018 and you wish to cancel or make changes to your bookings, the BLAST OFFICE must be notified in writing by email or letter, ON OR BEFORE the 15^th of the PRECEDING month… OR… the full month’s fee will be charged for the previously booked dates. (Example: to change for December, notify the office by letter or email at blast@itsablastprogram.com on or before November 15^th).
