February may be the shortest month, but is certainly going to be busy! Staff and students will be involved in many activities, including: Winter Walk Day, grade five and six basketball, staff will be engaged in convention activities, grade five and six students will be skiing, 100^th Day celebrations, Valentine’s Day, Shrove Tuesday, and Ash Wednesday.  As always, we are heavily engaged in the learning process every day.

On February 10^th we begin our Lenten journey.  This year we are reflecting on creating ‘A Horizon of Hope’.  As an Easter people Lent provides us a wonderful opportunity to build our Horizon of Hope by actively doing the charitable actions of the corporal and spiritual works of mercy:

Although I may not accomplish all the corporal and spiritual works of mercy this Lent, I challenge all our students, staff, and parent community to try.
